Debbie Bacigalupi, MBA, CMP, CS: national speaker on local and global agendas will be our guest speaker for SRWF on May 1, 2017. She will discuss issues with Agenda 21.
Debbie Bacigalupi is a Californian cattle rancher who is in demand throughout the west as an educational speaker at conferences, meetings, radio shows, podcasts, and colleges, covering but not limited to Sustainable Development, the Global Action Plan "2030 Agenda," Regionalism, Cap-n-Trade (AB32 and SB375), property rights, water and water rights, dams and "renewable" energy, "conservation," land use, California's agriculture, ranching and farming issues in the Western US, environmental treaties, and related issues.  She teaches "Ag in the Classroom" at elementary schools as a CA Cattlewomen member.
Ms. Bacigalupi's dynamic and big picture presentations are a result of the countless meetings and conferences she attends related to Climate Change, Environmentalism, Regionalism, and more.  Some include the 2012 United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development, the 2015 UN Paris Climate Change Conference (COP21), the 2013 Navigating the American Carbon World on Cap-n-Trade, the 2014 Western Governors Association Crucial Habitat Conferences, the 2011-2013 "Visioning" meetings for the One Bay Area Plan/Plan 2040/Regionalism, and many Fish and Wildlife meetings and hearings on the Endangered Species Act - wolves, spotted owl, Coho salmon, sage grouse, etc.
Ms. Bacigalupi co-produced and inspired timely documentaries: BLUE, NO WATER NO FARMER NO FOOD, FISH OR FOUL (Klamath River Dams), and WOLVES IN GOVERNMENT CLOTHING - all focusing on how aggressive environmental policy is harming rural America.  Discouraged by the erosion of rural America, she ran for Congress, U.S. House of Representatives, in 2012.   She is also responsible for hosting many town halls and conferences on these issues.
Ms. Bacigalupi was a 2016 runner up for California Republican Woman of the Year.  She holds a BS degree in Business, a Masters in Business Administration, is a Certified Meeting Professional, a Certified Sommelier, and former Congressional Candidate.  Her entrepreneurial spirit and passion to free rural America and change lives through education inspired her to open her own business with Rodan+Fields [see below] to help fund her passion.  She is Senior Editor of Technocracy.News.
